My philosophy is simple: 'diets' do not work. A 'diet' is something a person goes on and then goes off. I truly believe in lifestyle changes. An individual needs to change their eating behavior and their attitude toward food to be truly successful. I work very closely with my patients to help them achieve their own personal goals. My patients learn to choose their foods sensibly, while incorporating their food preferences and present lifestyle. Increasing activity levels where possible is also extremely important. It takes time and commitment, both from the patient and me. We become a team; a team that likes to win.
